| Eclectic Groove: SOME THINGS REMAIN THE SAME |
| Recording Notes: This started as an amazing experiment. Bill's background in metal percussion hid a brilliant talent which was composing more aromatic, romantic, electronic music. On a whim at one of Ken's band shows everything changed when Colleen had Bill play some music he had been working on. Ken Was floored. Once Ken's band went their own ways, it was Colleen who reminded Ken of what Bill can do. So one night in a self made studio down by a popular amusement park, Bill played a song called Diguri Dream...a 2 minute snippet of a new age number he was working on. Ken took it home, and wrote Fall Down. Recorded within 2 weeks, it opened the door for a great project of friendship and (eventually) personal growth. It took a while, but they spent an entire album developing who they were and what they were going to sound like in the future. With the final notes of Point of Life, it was quite clear where they were headed. Where they were headed was Long Island, and beyond. But that's another page.... |
